Programme Synopsis

Participants will acquire practical skills and knowledge to manage key human resources management dimensions.    


Training Outcomes

Performance management - how to focus employees’ work efforts on the company’s vision, mission and business goals; how to get the best out of employees through goal setting (KPAs, standards and indicators); how to provide ongoing feedback and get upward feedback through one-on-ones; how to appraise employee performance; and how to deal fairly with underperforming employees.

Employment equity -  how to contribute positively to the Company’s employment equity programme in an informed and skilled way through understanding the statutory framework; the company’s equity philosophy & policies; the role & functioning of an employment equity committee; and skills to participate effectively in an employment equity committee.

How to apply the company’s framework of HR policies and procedures


Substitution of Modules

To meet clients’ needs we can substitute either of the performance management or employment equity modules with any of the following modules:

·  Discipline skills
·  Managing absenteeism;
·  Preparing for wage negotiations; and
·  Recruitment & selection.
